how to change spark plugs on a 2007 GSXR600/750 k7

This is a step by step guide on how to change spark plugs on a 2007 Suzuki GSXR600 K7
I did this to my motorbike because it was running quite rough under 5000rpm and it fixed the problem
i have also created a 2 part video on this how to guide so feel free to watch that as it goes into alot more detail
It should only take about 30 mins for your first time and obviously much quicker the more times you do it.

tools needed (should all be in your little tool kit)
-Allen key set
-10mm spanner
-Spark plug socket tool
-Phillips head screwdriver
-Pliers (pointy ones)

1• Remove the front seat by removing the bolts.
2• Remove the fuel tank lower side covers there is a Velcro pad that you undo and slide towards the back of the bike to remove this(check below video for this step)
3• Take out the fuel tank prop stay from the tail of the bike.
4• Remove the fuel tank bolt.
5• Lift and support the fuel tank with the fuel tank prop stay
6• Disconnect the fuel pump relay 1, cooling fan relay 2 and IAT sensor lead wire coupler (all 3 of these are at the front of the air box)
7• Disconnect the PCV on the top towards the back
8• Remove the air cleaner mounting bolt (10mm)
9• Disconnect the PAIR hose right hand side
10• Remove the rubber caps 7 (LH & RH).
11• Loosen the throttle body clamp screws (LH & RH). check bideo for this step
12• Remove the air cleaner box.
13• Disconnect all lead wire couplers from ignition coil/plug caps.
14• Remove the ignition coils/plug caps.(READ Do Not Hit Coil/Plug Caps)
15• Remove the old spark plugs with a spark plug wrench. (16mm)

Prepare new spark plugs NGK CR9E

16• Measure the spark plug gap with a thickness gauge.
17• Adjust the spark plug gap if necessary. Spark plug gap:
Standard: 0.7 – 0.8 mm (0.028 – 0.031 in)

18• Screw the new spark plugs in and follow this step by step guide in reverse to assemble your motor bike back together

I have made a short 2 part video that goes through each step with more detail
